Garden Apartment
The apartment opens onto a sheltered walled courtyard garden situated between Startlea House and the garages alongside Swans Nest cottage, with the back-drop of the soft rounded hills of the South Hams across the fresh water lake of Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve.
In the lounge, the age of Startlea House is evident from the old stone wall with its ship's timber lintel over the recess. There is comfortable seating, a television with DVD player and 'Free Sat' viewing, stereo with cd player and well stocked bookshelves.
The spacious, modern kitchen diner is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, refrigerator and electric cooker, with ample storage space and worktops.
Tea towels, oven gloves, washing up liquid etc are supplied.
The large bedroom has twin beds, which can be zip-linked to form a king size double. We supply a hair drier and a clock radio. Adjacent to the bedroom is the spacious, fully tiled bathroom, with its basin, toilet and bath with shower over. There is central heating throughout the apartment for early and late season, and back up electric heaters in each room for the cooler evenings.
We supply all the bed linen, hand and bath towels, however we do ask you to bring your own towels for the beach.
